EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is required.  Seven years of experience in change management, communications and planning required.  Must have advanced understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools.  Must have demonstrated experience analyzing data from a variety of technology sources.  Must have ability to work on multiple products, activities, and projects as a project team member.  Must be able to prepare and present information to internal and external stakeholders.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.  In lieu of a degree, directly related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis

Basic Functions

SUMMARY

Leads and delivers communication and change management activities for the Department of Technology.  Monitors and maintains change management policies, processes and controls.  Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates change requests based on customer’s needs.  Develops, facilitates and implements communications and change management strategies that drives faster adoption, integration, and utilization across business groups. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that desired objectives foster seamless transition.  Designs strategy and the best approach to implement and manage change within business units. Monitors, tracks and maintains change request projects and deliverables. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with business requirements.  Responsible preparing a variety of communications, reports and correspondence on behalf of the Department of Technology.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads and delivers technology communication and change management activities for the Department of Technology.  Broadens awareness and adoption of change as it relates to new technology applications, systems and capabilities.
Monitors and maintains change management policies, processes and controls.  Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates change requests based on customer’s needs.
Develops, facilitates and implements communications and change management strategies that drives faster adoption, integration, and utilization across business groups.
Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that desired objectives foster seamless transition among business groups.  Advises stakeholders on strategy design and best approach to manage and implement change within business units.
Monitors, tracks and maintains change request projects and deliverables. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with business requirements.
Maintains technology policies and procedures and record retention program.
Responsible preparing a variety of communications, reports and correspondence on behalf of the Department of Technology.
Serves on the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and provides quality checks for special projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Special Requirements

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Six Sigma (Lean) certifications desired.
