FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ATLANTA, Ga., May 20, 2020 –– OUT Georgia Business Alliance is proud to announce new leadership of its Board of Directors, with Michael D. Daniels serving as President and David J. Gacsko as Vice President. The annual Board leadership update comes as the nonprofit chamber of commerce pivots during the COVID-19 pandemic to better serve Georgia’s LGBTQ+ and ally businesses, leaders, and professionals.

Established in 1994, OUT Georgia Business Alliance (formerly the Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce) serves the LGBTQ+ and Allied business community by advocating for the most inclusive and equitable business environment; providing support and resources to fuel economic growth; and driving meaningful community connections and impact across the State of Georgia.

Daniels, who takes over from immediate past president Petrina Bloodworth, is Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager for JP Morgan Chase Bank, Georgia, and member of Chase’s Pride BRG. He has been a Member of the OUT Georgia Business Alliance since 2016, growing his involvement as Ambassador, Membership Chair, Vice President, and now President of the Board.

“OUT Georgia is all about building a stronger LGBTQ+ and ally business community for Georgians representing all walks of life,” said Michael D. Daniels, President of OUT Georgia Business Alliance. “As we sharpen our focus on advocacy, business development, financial literacy, networking, and community, I’m honored to lead alongside our dedicated Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers, Partners, Stakeholders, and Members.”

Gacsko is the co-owner and president of Hierarchy, Inc., a full-service marketing consultancy that’s focused on the customer experience between brands and consumers. He was elected as Vice President at the May 14 Board meeting, which initiates a three-year leadership term with service as Vice President in year one, President in year two, and Immediate Past President in year three. He has been involved with the organization since 2016 serving as Communications Chair.

“As OUT Georgia grows and further expands statewide, our charge is to deliver higher value programming, shine a brighter spotlight on the incredible LGBTQ+ and ally organizations we represent, and further unite our expanding community in the most inclusive way,” said David J. Gacsko, Vice President of OUT Georgia Business Alliance. “I’m grateful for this opportunity to serve and collaborate with the inspiring businesses and leaders working for a more equitable and prosperous Georgia.”

OUT Georgia’s Executive Board Leadership includes Michael D. Daniels (President), David J. Gacsko (Vice President, Communications Chair), Gabrielle Claiborne (Secretary, Inclusion Chair), Yolanda R. Brownlee (Treasurer), and Petrina Bloodworth (Immediate Past President).
