ATLANTA, Ga., June 1, 2021 — OUT Georgia Business Alliance is proud to invite Georgia’s LGBTQ+ and ally community to the virtual Power of Connection: 2021 LGBTQ+ Business Summit to be held June 23-24, welcomes from Stacey Abrams and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, and keynotes from actress, advocate, and CEO Angelica Ross and Georgia State Representative Sam Park

“Exploring the theme Power of Connection, this year’s LGBTQ+ Business Summit underscores the importance of collaboration, visibility, intersectionality, inclusion, access to resources, and institutional- and peer-support as our LGBTQ+ community grows its impact here in Georgia and beyond,” said Chris Lugo, OUT Georgia’s Executive Director.

“This year, we’re honored to open on Wednesday, June 23 with welcomes from Stacey Abrams and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms leading into our featured keynote speaker Angelica Ross, actress, advocate, and founder & CEO of TransTech Social Enterprises,” Lugo added. “Then, we’ll dive into our final day of Thursday, June 24 with a special keynote delivered by Sam Park, the first openly gay man and the first Asian American Democrat elected to the Georgia State Legislature.”

“Each day, these incredible leaders will help energize and inspire attendees before we turn to our virtual expo hall and Member-developed learning sessions.”

Held 1:00-5:00pm Eastern June 23 and June 24 on the virtual event platform Hopin, the Power of Connection: 2021 LGBTQ+ Business Summit will feature powerful keynote speakers, special guest messages, a dynamic virtual expo area, and exclusive learning content developed for and by Members of the OUT Georgia Business Alliance.

Summit registration is $25 for OUT Georgia Members and $60 for non-Members, and for every paid registration, OUT Georgia will contribute the ticket proceeds to the OUT Georgia Impact Fund, powered by United Way of Greater Atlanta.

Members that register will also receive a complimentary virtual expo booth to build a showcase connecting attendees to the vibrant LGBTQ+ and allied businesses right here in Georgia.
