Now through February 26, OUT Georgia Business Alliance is accepting applications to serve on the inaugural volunteer Advisory Committees for the recently announced TGNC360 initiative and OUT Georgia Impact Fund, powered by United Way of Greater Atlanta.

OUT Georgia Business Alliance is launching TGNC360, a new employment and entrepreneurship initiative created by and for Georgia’s Transgender and Gender Nonconforming (TGNC) community.

TGNC360 aims to address economic equity by providing full-service support to Georgia’s TGNC residents on their employment and entrepreneurship journeys, while connecting participants with TGNC-focused community partners to improve access to healthcare and affordable housing.

While OUT Georgia’s role will be one of convener and host, representatives from TGNC-led organizations and community leaders will ultimately define the look and feel of this initiative. With this, a volunteer advisory committee will be formed to guide the development and implementation of TGNC360.

If you are a TGNC person interested in leading this groundbreaking work, please complete the following TGNC360 Volunteer Advisory Committee application NO LATER THAN February 26, 2021. Selection of committee members will be made and notified by March 5, 2021.

If you have any questions about TGNC360, contact Gabrielle Claiborne at Gabrielle.Claiborne@OUTGeorgia.org or Chris Lugo at Chris.Lugo@OUTGeorgia.org.

The OUT Georgia Impact Fund, powered by United Way of Greater Atlanta, will be guided by a community-led advisory committee to make grants to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations advancing the following designated priorities:

  • Serve individuals, children and families who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and other gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations;
  • Support LGBTQ youth to be stable, secure, and college & career ready;
  • Support LGBTQ adults and families to address urgent needs and secure resources in an accessible and equitable environment;
  • Invest in small businesses;
  • Build awareness of inequities and how to be more equity centered; promote advocacy within LGBTQ community; and
  • Build broader public awareness of and increase investments to Black-led LGBTQ organizations.

The Impact Fund will be guided by a community-led Advisory Committee composed of LGBTQ+ leaders and advocates that will meet regularly, establish the Impact Fund’s annual focus areas, and make grant recommendations for eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations advancing the priorities above.

If you are interested in helping shape the OUT Georgia Impact Fund in 2021 and beyond, please complete the OUT Georgia Impact Fund’s Volunteer Advisory Committee application NO LATER THAN February 26, 2021.
